We install ornamental metal fences that bring an extra touch of class to your property—and that also provide security. This type of fencing comes in a wide variety of styles, from contemporary to traditional. Your construction material choices, available in a number of standard colors, include:

• Hot rolled, galvanized or metalized steel
• Aluminum
• Various enamel, epoxy and powder coating options for added corrosion resistance

Design Standards

Light Commercial - Lower cost products use lighter gauges of materials (thinner metal) and smaller cross-sectional shapes and post sizes. Usually 1″ rails, 1/2″ or 5/8″ pickets, 1 ½″ posts.

Commercial and Industrial - Use heavier material thicknesses and larger cross-sectional shapes for added strength. Usually 1 ½″ and 2″ rails, 3/4″ or 1″ pickets and 2″ or greater posts.

Specified Brand Name Products - Regional suppliers and national manufacturers provide higher quality, proprietary designs with extended warranties. Costs will be higher and lead times may vary, but the time-value of your investment makes this a reasonable consideration.

Custom Designs

In addition to a variety of standard design options, a fence can be designed and manufactured to suit any architectural style or design.

Commercial Designs - These often consist of curved top security pickets, taller and heavier cross-sectional shapes and enhanced corrosion protection for extended life.

One Simple Example - Fences on Slopes can be dealt with in two ways:

1. Bias fabricated panels can be used, with rails that run parallel to the slopes. This may be necessary to fill in bottom voids between the fence bottom rail and the slope. These panels are more expensive to fabricate. Some pre-manufactured products have the ability to "rack," prior to installation, to deal with this.
2. Rectangular panels can be “stepped” down the slopes. Triangular shaped “holes” result below the bottom rail and the adjacent post. This is a potential security point where animals or humans can enter or leave. Frequently, the width of each panel is shorter to make the holes smaller. These additional panels add to the cost of the installation.
